With these bodies, these limbs shaped always.

A thousand years ago these toys were made. A thousand years from now these toys will be thought of.

or something like that... these guys were inspired by.... well you either know or you don't.

Here's a shot or partial shot:

If you want to keep track of where this is going start by creating an account @ Littlerubberguys.com

I can say a portion of the next silicone pickup will be dedicated to these guys...

Custom Junkbot Halfbad Toyz X Smash Tokyo X Imperfecz

Well.... I stuck with it... I said from the beginning I would paint one of the two Junkbots I was lucky enough to snag and offer it up to the public... As attached to it as I have been since the paint laid so beautiful on the resin... I still put him up.

and man I hope the second one comes out half as cool as this one did... because that's the one for the collection!

I used a wash to begin with to bring out the subtle details of this really clean lined piece. Initially I was going to go for a kind of dirty very used look. Those thoughts didn't last as I got a feel for the sculpt. This guy has some really clean angular lines and a stylized look that began to remind me of the Shogun Warriors I loved as a kid. OK this took me in another direction so I grabbed the Tamiya clear paints and really looked at it to see what might really work. There are also some metallic paints worked in in key areas.

Part of me hopes there will be a DIY release of these guys in crystal clear with glitter...

Cthulhu 2.0 Test Pull Raffle and contest!!

Here's the deal...
This piece has a subtle glow in the dark effect as I was experimenting with some powders while pulling these. The color is a translucent green with a funky brownish wash to it. I have been trying to figure out what to do with this one, dragging it to shows as a show piece, putting it on my shelf... then it hits me... a raffle!

That's right... you can purchase one chance at owning this last test pull for a buck! One dollar = one ticket in the pull. Every ticket purchased from now till the end of August at midnight Mountain time is eligible. No limit on tickets! September first I will toss all the names in a bowl or something and have a completely disinterested party pick the name.
The winner will be announced on September first
There is also a side contest: Purchase a ticket for the raffle... then send me your guess as to the 3 Battle Beasts and two M.U.S.C.L.E.s used to create Cthulhu 2.0: Whoever guesses correct will receive an actual bagged and carded Cthulhu 2.0 figure... one of the 5 created. In the event that there are multiple people that guess the correct figures there will be a second raffle to determine the winner.
Pictured is one of the three test pulls, all have the same treatment but the glow effect will vary from piece to piece.

Here's a shot of one of the three Cthulhu 2.0 test pulls

The guess the figure contest portion was inspired by a comment from That Figures

Guess the Three Battle Beast & Two M.U.S.C.L.E.s used

Then your name goes in the jar for this

Cthulhu 2.0 Small Run Release Now!!!

Cthulhu 2.0 ended up being a very small run consisting of 5 pieces. Right now 3 of the five pieces are available in my store HERE

There is a possibility of future runs like a 2.1 or 2.2 and so on... but this is the only time they will be available in this paint scheme. These are solid resin casts, fully painted with 2 points of articulation.

Cthulhu 2 fits right in line with all the other Battle Beasts in scale and articulation. He is created using 3 Battle Beasts & 2 M.U.S.C.L.E.s and then some sculpting by me.

The Cthulhu 2.0 have been laboriously casted, cleaned, fitted, and painted to a high level of quality. Also each piece is signed with the number of release on the feet.

Each piece also comes bagged with sweet header card featuring a collaboration effort between myself and Eric Nilla
